Timea Szalontayová

Timea Szalontayova is a Slovak performer, dancer, and teacher based in London. She completed a BA in Contemporary Dance at Trinity Laban Conservatoire and an MA in Dance Performance at London Contemporary Dance School / The Place.

With a passion for movement as a form of expression and connection, Timea shares her practice through teaching, workshops, and collaborations with artists and festivals in London and her hometown, Košice. She is also a co-producer of art and dance festivals such as MoveFest Košice and LiveLoveDance.

Her artistic interests span theatre performance, site-specific projects, movement for film and commercial work, as well as film production. Beyond dance, Timea explores various forms of movement, including fitness, yoga, pilates, and climbing, approaching creativity and physicality through a holistic lens.
