BODY OF MANY

Eva Priečková/False Move kindly invites you to Practice Based Performance - Body of Many, which we explore since 2021.

ʙᴏᴅʏ ᴏꜰ ᴍᴀɴʏ is the process of shaping a relationship. It is based on the cultivation of sensitivity to listen to each other, to the environment, to the history of the body, and to the future of the earth. It is inspired by Ursula K. Le Guin's concept of the CARRIER BAG, which she describes as human's first tool. What all we have stored in this carrier bag and how we can use it in relation to one another. How to recycle knowledge and highlight the precarious labour of dance artists and performers who are constantly forced to create "new" and "fresh" 
Through voice, singing, touch, rhythm and words, performers create events based on listening and perceiving themselves in relation to the Telocvičňa, the natural more than human world, their own past and an uncertain collective future.

In 2021, Eva Priečková invited Jakob Jautz, Lukáš Bobalik and Silvia Sviteková to the Telocvična - Dance Residency Centre Together they explored the theme of THREE BODY PROBLEM, during the lockdown. The trio as a disruption of binarity and duality. The trio as an incalculable number of possibilities of mutual movement in space. 
They continued in May 2021 when, thanks to Batyskaf, they opened their lab, which they called ᴛʜᴇ ᴋɪᴛᴄʜᴇɴ ᴏꜰ ʟᴜꜱɪᴊᴀ, to observers who could ask Eva Priečková questions about movement, choreography and concept while watching the two-hour open score. Jaro Kyša and Adela Donoval joined the Body of Many process thanks to the kitchen. 
In 2022, they completed a week-long residency during which they continued to explore the moods and shapes of the trio - then still called Lusija (Lu - Lukas, Si - Silvia, Ja - Jakob)
In 2023 they take a break and meet on other projects, in different positions.
