AUDANCE 2021: TALKING ABOUT WATCHING
Audance workshops are a new educational format of PlaST, which was created within the Residance project.
Workshops focus on creative processes and models of giving and getting feedback.
The purpose of the "Talking about Watching" format is to cultivate communication, to learn more about one's work from a dialogue with a viewer or a critic, than about a person who provides feedback. It wants to improve dialogue and verbalization as such, but at the same time not deny the non-verbal nature of (dance) art.
It is suitable for both dance and non-dance artists who are in the creative process and those who consider feedback to be an important and inspiring element in their work.
In 2021, two Audance sessions were held: a workshop with Zdenka Brungot Svíteková, and a meeting of artists with representatives of Slovak cultural centers.
