Residence duration: 2022-08-15 / 2022-11-04

Performance date: 2022-11-03 at 17:30

Eva spent some time at the Telocvičňa in August and is now returning for the last week of her residency with Argentinian dancer Leandro Villavicencio.

As part of the residency exit, they introduce us to their way of making and share the principles and practices they use in it.

Through an open workshop format they will link questions, practice and theory, exploring the individual processes of finding material, composing and 'decomposing' the body and movement stereotypes. To work with the state of "migration", which opens up a field of questions and is very personal for each of us.

Creation 2023 – INVISIBLE MIGRATIONS

Explores a vocabulary and all questions related to the state of being out of balance,  a kind of ' state of migrations' in our bodies . What pushes us beyond our limits, borders, out of our axes? Playing with the state “out of balance” allows us also to change our perspective, our point of view, to open the scale of our sensory perceptions and to become perhaps more attentive to the surrounding spaces and communities. The new creation is also searching for tools on how to find pleasure and confidence in the “out of balance situations”.
