KONTAMINÁCIE: ODONATA

Tereza Pavlíková is a young artist, performer, and musician based in Bratislava. Her work blends elements of performance, dance, physical theatre, original text, sound, and voice, reflecting her intense inner experiences and sensitivity to the surrounding world.

 

On the way to the forest, I collect small beetles from the ground, their bodies broken, motionless. I examine tenderness in this strange, fragile, immobilized state. The boundary between myself and the insect cracks—I find myself in a hybrid body, somewhere in-between. A point where transformation emerges as a response to helplessness, creating space for a new form of life.

 

The performative-concert version of her solo Odonata is an unwritten ecological essay—a pause to reflect on the extraordinary beauty of insects, dying nature, and its transformations.
